Sydney Gardens
Bath, BA2 6NE
About
Sydney Gardens were historically the Pleasure Gardens of Bath. Today the gardens continue the reminiscent elegance, provide enclosed lawns, tennis courts, a children’s play area and a seasonal kiosk.
Bridges over the canal and train line provide opportunities for avid train spotters, including the steam trains that occasionally pass through the gardens.
Walks along the canal from Sydney Gardens will take you into the city, where you’ll see the Bath Locks, or out to Batheaston where you’ll find local pubs. Refer to our walks for further information.
