MeatBusters (formerly Burgers and Barrels) is a rustic burger bar and takeaway located just on the edge of the city centre on Lower Bristol Road. The bar has a split level ground floor, with high bar stools and bench tables and a small alfresco seating area to the front. They serve a range of fantastic burgers, lusciously topped fries and potent cocktails. Everything is cooked to order in their tiny kitchen, so service can be slow at busy times, but worth the wait as it is all made from fresh locally sourced produce.

Up for a challenge? MeatBusters have a “Man vs Food” style burger called “The Hulk”, which is held Sunday – Thursday from 19:00 and booking is generally required. You have to see it to believe it!

Kitchen closing times are: Mon – Fri @ 21:30, Fri – Sat @ 22:00 and Sun @ 20:30.
