Tapas, Meze & Sharing Plates
Whether it’s Tapas , sharing food is a super social event. The tactile experience heightens enjoyment and the range of small dishes lets you explore flavours. Sharing an array of light bites is one of our favourite ways to dine out, and Bath has plenty of places to choose from.
For classic tapas we like Olé Tapas , a tiny restaurant in the heart of the city. The tapas menu is traditional with a few modern bites, and the bijoux setup instils an authentic vibe. They also have a good selection of sherry if you are out for the full Spanish experience.
La Perla is perfect for cold rainy days when you need the comfort factor, their warm lighting and spacious vaults provide a welcoming cosy environment. The Tapas menu is modern, but includes the simple classics, and their restaurant has an open kitchen enabling you to see the action.
For summer days our favourite is the sunny terrace at Pintxo , the relaxed atmosphere and excellent sherry selection create a warming continental vibe. The dishes include a good variety of produce, helping you sample new delights!
Jars Meze serves traditional Tapas inside their family run restaurant. Whether it is a quiet lunch with friends whilst shopping or a romantic evening, the food and atmosphere is great.
